Our diamonds are natural and carefully sourced in rare white, G colour and VS quality. Every diamond weighing more than 0.50 carats is issued with a report from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), an organization that sets the standard for the quality of diamonds according to the four criteria: carat, colour, clarity and cut.
The finest colour for a diamond is no colour at all. A colourless diamond acts as a prism that can split light into rainbow colours.
All diamonds are traded in accordance with the Kimberley Process to ensure that only conflict-free diamonds are used.
A diamond’s quality is determined by the four C’s – Carat, Colour, Clarity and Cut. The standard quality in Engelbert jewellery is Top Wesselton (rare white), with an excellent or a very good cut.
